Xbox has one of the best cloud-gaming suites out there. Starting today, players in Ireland and Colombia will be able to test out a new feature that allows friends and family to share their Xbox Game Pass benefits. He can play it while logged in, I can play it on my profile while he is still logged in in the background, but as soon as his profile signs out I can't play anymore because the "I own this" flag went away with his profile. This week marks a pretty hefty one where more games get sent up to the cloud and large companies like Microsoft start testing new features. An example: my buddy comes over and downloads a game he owns while logged in on my Xbox. The "I own this" flag to play a game is from the account profile or it being a home Xbox of that account profile it's not actually part of the game unless you're using physical discs. You should NOT need to delete/download the game. You can also remove and re-add the profiles, or re-set the home console to make sure those settings are correct. If she is getting an active session error rather than a "do you own this?" erro, then you should probably double-check that the profiles aren't set to auto-login on either console. That way she'll get GamePass via home console and you'll still have GamePass from your account. Okay, so your profile is the one that has GamePass, right? If so, then you need to set the console that you generally DON'T play on (the one SHE generally plays on) as the home console for your profile.
